I am a programmer and wanted to try this style Ergonomic Chair BetterPosture Saddle Chair Jobri F1465 because I heard it does wonders for your posture. I have to say that I love it! It takes a lot of pressure off of my back.

forward and backward tilt

I have never had this type of chair before as I always used a traditional office chair.  Product is well made considering the price. The assembly was straightforward and quite easy. The BetterPosture Saddle Chair Jobri F1465-BK is great for sitting at my desk as I no longer slouch.

The seat is wider than I had hoped but it is reasonably comfortable, well constructed and rolls easily. If you are looking for a saddle chair at a fair price, this is a good value, and the chair appears to be durable. The most important thing is that the seat rotates or tilts from front to back. It has a tilt mechanism (that you can loosen or tighten), which isn't mentioned in the description, so it was a pleasant surprise.

This is extremely important because you need to find just the right pelvic tilt in order for the chair to help your back. I've sat on a chair without a tilt capability that gave me the feeling I was sliding forward. It is better than the large seat previously in the room. This allows me to move closer to my work which keeps my back straighter thus better ergonomics.

I don't have a tendency to slouch in this chair, like I did in my normal ergonomic chair. Because you have to sit properly (make sure you put the weight on your feet and rotate your hips forward, like sitting on a horse saddle), the back does get tired a bit more than usual, but taking a break for a few minutes every hour resolves that issue.

In general, Ergonomic Chair BetterPosture Saddle Chair Jobri F1465-BK is a very good concept for an office chair.
